Professional babysitters, part-time psychologists, and a drunk’s best friend. How did you get into bartending, and how long have you been doing it?
Well, I started serving at Ethyl, and then about six months after I was serving, I started bartending here. So I’ve been bartending for about six months now.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen while bartending?
Probably just fights at the bar and stuff. People will hop the fence to get in and then there’s just fights.
What’s the worst way for someone to get your attention at the counter?
Shoving their card or money in my face or just yelling when I’m talking to someone else.
What’s the best?
Just wait patiently, and we will come to you.
What’s your go-to drink lately?
It’s really basic, but just like a Tito’s and soda with lime juice.
What drink do you always recommend to customers?
There’s this shot called the Wet Cooter. It’s vodka and peach schnapps, sour, Sprite, and cranberry juice.
When you’re not bartending, what are you doing?
Drinking at Ethyl.
When you’re not at Ethyl & Tank, what bars do you like to go to?
Midway… I wish I was joking.
If you could grab a drink with anyone — dead or alive — who would it be and what would you drink?
I would very much like the rip shots with Harry Styles; just the experience.
Finish this sentence: Ethyl & Tank is the best bar in town because…
Cuz we have the cutest staff.
