With Halloween creeping just around the corner, it’s time to start considering those last minute costume ideas. Your Halloween celebrations may not look the same this year, but that should not stop you and your roommates from dressing up and celebrating the spookiest night of the year.
Salt, Tequila and Lime
What better way to celebrate Halloween than with salt, tequila and lime– dressed as salt tequila and lime? This easy, three-person costume calls for a green shirt labeled “lime,” a white shirt labeled “salt,” and a shirt representing your favorite tequila brand. The costume may not be very scary, but your behavior after one too many tequila shots will surely make up for it.
Shark Week
Who doesn’t love a cheap, punny halloween costume? This costume is perfect for those of you with 7 roommates (ouch) for the seven days of the week. Label 7 white t-shirts with each day of the week, pop some cheap, handmade shark fins on your backs, and there you have it: shark week.
Ohio State Football Players
Considering Ohio State plays Penn State in a night game, this Halloween could not be more perfect. This makes your life easier too, as you and your roommates can turn on the game (rip student section), throw on your football jerseys and call it a costume. It may not be the spookiest costume, but it sure as hell should scare Penn State.
Seltzer Brands
As White-Claw seltzer became more popular, so did the White-Claw group Halloween costume. Many brands have come out with their own alcoholic seltzers since, so why not give those other brands a chance to shine? With options like Truly Lemonade, Corona Seltzer, Bud Light Seltzer, etc., you and your roommates can come together to embody the ultimate drink menu. Plus, let’s be honest: you’ll probably be drinking seltzers on Halloween anyway.
High Street Bars
Since you can’t really go get scary at the bars this year, we found a way to bring the bars to you: dress up as your favorite bars for Halloween. Our beloved High Street has many to choose from; we suggest a leprechaun for Lucky’s, a goat for Ethyl & Tank, and the new, trippy alien logo for Midway. Who said a socially-distanced Halloween couldn’t still be fun?
